I'm a self-taught developer who got hooked on building things early — started experimenting with HTML and assembling computers in the early 2000s, and never stopped. Over the years I've worked up and down the stack: from frontend HTML/CSS/JavaScript to Python backends with Flask and FastAPI, to database work in MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.

At Horizon Digital Finance I led a full rebuild of the company's main website using Python, Flask, and Flask-SQLAlchemy, integrated an OpenAI-powered spam filter that cut junk email by 85%, and kept multiple production sites running smoothly for nearly a decade.

Beyond the day job, I've shipped an iOS app to the App Store, built browser extensions published to the Mozilla Add-ons store, and document everything I learn on my blog LearningABit.com.
